Mitt Romney Doing Laundry – Photo

Tagg Romney tweeted this photo of his dad, Mitt Romney, apparently doing his own laundry. What a regular guy, Mitt is!

Thanks for the photo. there was one in the last presidential election of Romney and one of his sons digging up a huge root of a tree too that was a great photo. That would be a good one for the media to show.  Romney needs more of these kinds of photos to be shown. I am a Rick Perry supporter and always will be ( I voted for Rick Perry abesentee ballot and I am so glad because I got to stck to picking the ONLY true conservative in the entire bunch from day one)  but I do know that visuals help. God help us all in this election if Obama wins again, the nightmare he did to America his first term will be even worse if he gets to stay in office.

laughable. stop trying so hard to look like a common man. moreover, quit pretending to be someone you’re not.

oh please       does Tagg and his obnoxious parents really think that Americans really buy this “sell”          desperation never seen at such tacky levels

He’s been saying anything to get to the White House–now he will  let his idiot son take any picture he and Ann feel will help get him there.

    Memo to the Romney Campaign:

What would the average American reaction to this photo may be?

Option 1:  Here he goes again, Mitt doing or saying anything to get elected.
Option 2: A guy that’s worth $200 m likes to do laundry — how weird is that?
Option 3: A guy that’s worth $200m doesn’t mind expending several fortunes in several houses but won’t spend a penny in services — ohh yes I remember now, service people he likes to fire!!

I look at this and can’t help but think of it as a waste of his time.  I’d think the same of President Obama doing his laundry.  He should be using time to work on solving problems as a potential leader, not that I really think of Romney as leadership material in a Presidential manner, but this is not a good use of his free time.  It’s obviously meant to portray him as a “real person” and yet serves to do nothing but make him look like a fool. Typical Romney move!

Thankfully, the rest of the country can actually see the reality of Rick Perry.  We’re lucky we escaped the fate of Texas.  Let him keep his hypocritical nonsense and minimum wage jobs there.  The last thing we need is his stupidity, or that of his supporters, spread on a national level.

Hotels sell those packages of detergent either at the front desk or in vending machines.

And it is almost always Tide. (I don’t know why)

If you travel at all (and I travel constantly) you will absolutely use these small packages of tide in the hotel laundry.

Mitt is a bit weird about money.  He does have tons of it, but he doesn’t like to spend it.  (Maybe that’s one way he got so much!)

He’s a tightwad unless his wife Ann wants to do something, then his wallet is fully open.  He gives her anything she wants.

    I’ve heard that’s a sign of a good husband.

I did not think Perry showed himself capable of being President (Yet) but of all the candidates, I liked his personality best of all.

    …and…hold…and….GOT IT! that’s a cut and print!

Romney seems like an excellent husband.  By all accounts he has been a loving and loyal husband and supported his wife Ann strongly when she was very ill. That’s the sign of a very good husband.

Wth that said, the argument that he only spends money when Ann wants something is at best a bit patronizing and at worst a classic example of wanting to manage his image in a way that feels funny… “oh yes I worked very hard to make tons of money but I’m actually very frugal in a weird way”… but Governor what about all those mansions? “oh well Ann wanted them”…

It reminds me of “Roe vs Wade is the law of the land and the Massachusetts people won’t see me waver on that”…of course until he did… when he decided to run for President in the Republican Party.
