Rick Santorum Says “I Expect to Win the Nomination”; Points to Missouri Primary as His Chance to Beat Romney Head-to-Head – Video 2/4/12

Here is video of Rick Santorum last night in Colorado where he told CNN he fully believes that eventually, the race will come back to him. “Oh, I expect to win the nomination,” Santorum boldly said.

Santorum touted the upcoming Missouri Primary, Tuesday, February 7, because Newt Gingrich chose not to be on the ballot there. That gives him a one-on-one chance against Mitt Romney. A recent poll showed him leading Romney there. If Santorum can beat Romney in Missouri, he can then make the case that he is best suited to be the “conservative” challenger to Romney. I think he has a real shot to win Missouri, and it will be a huge tactical error by Gingrich to give Santorum the chance to face-off against Romney one-on-one.
