U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Tells Egyptians, “I Would Not Look to the U.S. Constitution if I were Drafting a Constitution” Today – Video 2/8/12
I heard about this the other day, but missed getting video of it posted. It is so shocking and revealing, I’m going to post it, even though it’s a few days old.
It is video of a United States Supreme Court Justice – far-Left Ruth Bader Ginsburg – talking to Egyptian TV where she was asked if the U.S. Constitution would be a good model for Egypt to follow in drafting a new constitution. You would think that a person whose work is privileged to be interpreting the U.S. Constitution would automatically commend it as the best guide. Not in Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Leftist world:
“I would not look to the U.S. Constitution if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the constitution of South Africa.”
Good grief. And we wonder why the nation is in such a mess. How sad to think that one of the things this Supreme Court Justice will be most remembered for is that she said, “I would not look to the U.S. Constitution if I were drafting a constitution” today.
