Bill O’Reilly Calls Barack Obama the “Champion” of the “Nanny State”; Says We “Won’t Recognize this Country” with Four More Years of Obama – Video 2/15/12

Here is Bill O’Reilly last night in his opening “Talking Points” where he very bluntly set forth the reality that Barack Obama and the Left in America are relentlessly working to turn the United States into a “nanny state.” He cited as an example the recent story from North Carolina of a 4-year old girl having her sack lunch taken away by school authorities because they did not feel it met nutrition “guidelines.” They replaced her turkey and cheese sandwich with chicken nuggets!!!!

O’Reilly called Barack Obama the “champion” of the nanny state. He warned, “if this continues, you’re not going to recognize this country in four years.”

O’Reilly is right, and that’s exactly what Barack Obama wants. This is what Obama meant when he talked about “radically transforming America.” Obama does not like America the way she has been. He does not believe in free enterprise and individual liberty. He believes in an all-powerful Federal Government that regulates and controls the lives of its people, and redistributes wealth. As O’Reilly said, if this continues, the America that used to be the shining city on a hill to the world won’t exist anymore. We’ll be just another mediocre social welfare state.

    We need to stop talking about it and start doing.   When some goverment individual tells your child what to do, the parent needs to tell that person to take a hike.  We have to stop complaining and act on our NO.  We have a lot of weak men that are at the core of enabling this takeover.

    America has to chose its way in the next election.  Conservatism offers the hard way — work ethic, personal responsibility,
    religious virtues — and liberalism offer the easy way — entitlements,
    free stuff, cool victim status to get hooked on sex, drugs and TV. These two
    ways can be seen in the two semi official movements: The Tea Party and
    OWS.  America has to choose: number one in the world or the
    “I’m a cool deadbeat hippie against evil big business and I want my
    ipad, sex and drugs for free, maan.”   The Tea Party and OWS have their two competing dreams: The American Dream vs. the
    communist/socialist dream.  The communist/socialist dream is that of
    paradise and all is wonderful and given to you by a big beneficent
    government.  The American Dream is that you spend much of your life
    slogging your way to the top and make something of yourself.  So what do Americans want?  Working hard or having it all given to you? 
    Americans will find that out in the next election.  And what is the
    character of America after years of liberal (leftist) education, liberal
    courts, liberal theology, liberal government, liberal media, liberal
    Hollywood, etc.?  I hate to say it but much of America has becoming weak and
    flabby, resentful of the rich and intoxicated by the free stuff and
    entitlements.  And the free stuff is never enough — there is never
    gratitude when you have been labeled a victim.  Traditional religion,
    which provides the moral pillars and lays the bulwark for the virtues
    (personal responsibility, hard work, morality, family values) has been
    weakened.  It is replaced by mindless entertainment, sex, drugs, toys
    and rampant, unimpeded hedonism.  Again, the easy way.  And it is no
    accident that secularism/atheism has always been the official position
    of the socialists.  They don’t want any competing views of morality or
    human excellence or on life.  Government has become the final authority,
    it has become God.I’m surprised that BOR has caught on because he always seems to attribute the best motives towards Obama.  Maybe he see the severity of the problem and his tone and manner has changed.  The next election is decisive for America.

    O’Reilly is one miserable human being.  What he said about Whitney Houston makes him just a slightly more sophisticated version of that hateful spider Rush.

    If we choose the “easy” way, Islam will eventually take over the hippie-state.  You don’t get very far with no work ethic.

    That is right because Islamic people believe in it to the point they are willing to die for their religion. Obama is already threatening religious freedom in America and it is just a matter of time where the state has complete control — just like in communists dictatorships.  Obama is now overriding the constitution and telling reporters he wished he had more power.  He is removing God from his speeches and all this to appease his far left base.  If he is reelected — by offering free stuff — then he might think he has a mandate to implement full socialism where the government radically intrudes into everybody’s life and people are fully dependent on it and his largess.  America thought it was nice electing the first black president but they didn’t realize that Obama has more in common with Stalin and Idi Amin. If America has a gulag it is the gulag of the soul: people who are without hope, opportunity and religion.  But it will be a comfortable gulag for many in that they prefer free stuff, handouts and nanny state dependency to freedom. Obama by promising liberation is delivering slavery and a new tyranny. Hopefully, America chooses right!
