MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough points out that Obama’s new Campaign slogan, “Forward” sounds a lot like MSNBC’s “Lean Forward” Campaign.

Wow. What a coincidence.

The Barack Obama 2012 Campaign has chosen a slogan favored by many Socialists, Marxists, Communists and MSNBC down through the years: “Forward:”

WASHINGTON TIMES: The Obama campaign apparently didn’t look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, “Forward” — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.

Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name “Forward!” or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called “Forward (generic name of socialist publications).”

“The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications,” the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan “Forward!” reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

The Obama campaign released its new campaign slogan Monday in a 7-minute video. The title card has simply the word “Forward” with the “O” having the familiar Obama logo from 2008. It will be played at rallies this weekend that mark the Obama re-election campaign’s official beginning. . . . Read More

MSNBC has been pushing their Leftist “Lean Forward” slogan for months now. Above is the Obama Campaign’s 7-minute video rolling out the “Forward” slogan.

Oh my.

Here is video of liberal Arianna Huffington on CBS this morning where she called Barack Obama’s Bin Laden Ad “despicable” for saying Mitt Romney would not have also ordered the Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

The open of the video is priceless as Huffington says “I agree completely,” meaning with the Romney Campaign. You can hear the shock on the part of the CBS talking heads when they realized she was hammering Obama!

Here is video of the “Smirker-in-Chief” doubling down on saying Mitt Romney would not have okayed the Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

But HotAirPundit deserves an A++++ for finding this video clip from 2007 of Mitt Romney saying in a GOP Debate that the U.S. should do whatever is necessary to get Bin Laden – even firmly concluding, “He will pay. He will die.”

You watch. Obama’s arrogance has led him to go too far here. He has now set himself up for Mitt Romney to look over at him in a debate this Fall and say, “I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this – but YOU did not kill Osama bin Laden. Our brave military members did, and they deserve ALL the credit. Not you.” By October, Americans will be so sick of Obama talking about what “I did,” that when Romney lowers the boom, voters will be thrilled!

“Smirker-in-Chief” Doubles Down on Romney not Ordering Bin Laden Killing; But 2007 Video shows Romney declaring Bin Laden “Will Pay. He Will Die” – Videos

At a Campaign stop in New Hampshire today, Mitt Romney was asked on the rope line if he would have ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. Romney’s answer was excellent: “Even Jimmy Carter would have given that Order!”

Well, so much for Obama’s claim that Mitt Romney essentially said he would not go after Osama bin Laden in Pakistan. That claim has been at the heart of Obama’s shameless attempt to exploit what our military bravely accomplished last year – Not only that he deserves the credit, but claiming to be a mind-reader in saying Romney would not have ordered the raid.

But here is video from a 2007 GOP Debate when Mitt Romney was asked point-blank if he would act on intelligence placing bin Laden in Pakistan. His response? “Of course”:

“Of course America always maintains our option to do whatever we think is in the best interest of America. But we don’t go out and say “ladies and gentleman of Germany, if ever there was a problem in your country [and] we didn’t think you were doing the right thing, we reserve the right to come in and get them out”. We don’t say those things, we keep our options quiet.”

Romney clearly reserved the right to do whatever was in the best interests of the U.S., but said candidates should not be making those kinds of statements publicly.

Great find by Morgen Richmond at Hot Air.

Once in awhile, someone in the liberal media decides to be up front about their own bias in favor of Democrats. Here is Time’s Mark Halperin saying if former President George W. Bush had tried to exploit the capture of Saddam Hussein the way Barack Obama is exploiting the killing of Osama Bin Laden by Navy SEALs, the media “would go crazy”:

“It’d be shut-down. It’d be the lead story on the news every night. We’d shut down.”

But with Obama, he is not only exploiting it for himself, he has gone to the insane step of also saying Mitt Romney wound NOT have given the OK to get bin Laden! He has the arrogance to say what another man would or would not have done in the same situation when Romney had no actual opportunity one way or the other! To this, the media is not only not outraged, they are aiding and abetting Obama.

Former CBS News Anchor Dan Rather says Mitt Romney “has a good chance of becoming President,” placing the odds of an Obama Re-Election at “even money at best.” Rather made the remarks in an interview with Politico ahead of the Tuesday release of his new memoir, Rather Outspoken: My Life in the News:

POLITICO: . . . Rather says he believes that President Barack Obama is a much more effective campaigner than a president, and that a failure to regain his ability to be engaging and persuasive as he was on the campaign trail in 2008 could cost him a second term in the White House.

“I have no idea what kind of president Gov. Romney will make, but I do think [that] … he has a good chance of becoming president,” Rather said. “President Obama is even money at best at this particular time … his odds right now are 50/50 in my book.” . . . Read More

Here is video of “60 Minutes” extensive interview with Jose Rodriguez, the former head of the CIA’s Clandestine Service, who spearheaded the “Enhanced Interrogation” of terrorist detainees.

Rodriquez says this about Barack Obama’s condemnation of “Enhanced Interrogation” to save American lives:

“When President Obama condemns the covert action/activities of a previous Government, he is breaking the covenant that exists between intelligence officers who are at the pointey-end of the spear – who are hanging way out there – and the Government that authorized them and directed them to go there.”

Here is video of NBC’s David Gregory saying over the weekend that this year’s Presidential Election is shaping up to be “the cool guy” vs. “the square” – “the nerdy guy.” Gregory said Romney won’t necessarily run away from the “nerdy guy” image, because he wants to project that he knows how to turn the U.S. Economy around.

I think a lot of Americans don’t think “cool” when they see Obama. They think “arrogant” and “full of himself.” Big difference there.

Here is video of Pat Buchanan on “The McLaughlin Group” this weekend where he said he does not think Sen. Marco Rubio will be Mitt Romney’s Vice-Presidential pick because when he is seen with Romney he looks “too young” and “too callow” to be “Vice-President of the United States.” Buchanan called Rubio a “very attractive candidate,” but does not believe it is the right time for him, believing Romney will instead go with a pick who is “perceived as heavier and older.”

In case you are wondering about Buchanan’s use of “callow”: Describes someone, especially a young person, who behaves in a way that shows they have little experience, confidence or judgment.

Rubio certainly does look young, but he has distinguished himself very well. I think he has an outstanding future, and would be a great choice as Vice-President if Romney decides to go with him.

Here is video of Fox News’ Brit Hume today saying he believes it would be “embarrassing” for President Obama to lose in the Supreme Court on “ObamaCare” and on the Arizona Immigration Law. Both rulings are likely to come in June, and many believe the High Court did not receive well the Obama’s Administration’s arguments in the cases this month. Hume disagrees with some who contend losses on one or both of the rulings would give Obama second life, allowing him to run against the Supreme Court for the Fall Campaign.

Here is video of this week’s “Inside Washington” political discussion program. At around the 17:10 mark, Charles Krauthammer makes the statement that the “lightning is no longer in the bottle” for Barack Obama when it comes to the youth vote:

“Four years ago, the guy was all hope. Well now they have four years of experience with this guy and nobody graduating college can get a job. So, I think that the lightning is no longer in the bottle.”

On Meet the Press today, Romney Campaign Adviser Ed Gillespie called Barack Obama “one of the most divisive Presidents in American History,” as evidenced by his crass attempt to use the killing of Osama bin Laden by our brave Navy SEALs for personal political advantage.

Here is video of a college student who had the opportunity to meet President Obama and be photographed with him, eliciting a gasp from CNN when she would not say she will vote for him. She didn’t say she wouldn’t vote for him, but her non-commitment was a shock to the faithful at CNN. I’m hoping for lots of gasps like this from the Obama-loving media on Election Night, November 6!
