Mitt Romney hammered Barack Obama and the Democrats for their decision to remove “God” and Jerusalem” from their party platform, calling it a “very sad day” when one of America’s best allies gets thrown under the bus by President Obama and his party. The criticism by Romney and others was so effective, the Democrats put the words back in their platform yesterday, in a contentious vote, with many of the delegates booing the decision.
