Here is video from 2008 of Jay Carney criticizing Barack Obama’s “bitter clinger” remarks at a fundraiser. At the time, Carney was a reporter for Time Magazine, and he said Obama “has real problems” because of the remarks, because it shows he is not very well “connected to small-town America.”

Today, Carney, now Obama’s White House Press Secretary, said he does not remember criticizing Obama’s statement!
