Mitt Romney Says We Need a President who Brings Unemployment Down by Actually Creating Jobs: “WHEN I am President of the United States. . . I Will Create Jobs and Get America Working Again” – Video 10/5/12

Here is video of Gov. Mitt Romney today in Virginia where he set forth the reality of unemployment in America under Barack Obama. Romney said the Jobs Report today showed fewer jobs created in September than in the previous month, and said the Unemployment Rate is now just under 8% because many Americans have dropped out of the work force this year – thus meaning they are not counted as unemployed ( which is insane). Romney pointed out that if the Labor Participation Rate was the same today as it was when Barack Obama took office, the Real Unemployment rate would be around 11%. Fewer Americans are actually in the work force today than nearly four years ago when Barack Obama took office. Romney told the crowd, “We can do better.”

Romney: “When I’m President of the United States, WHEN I’m President of the United States, that unemployment number is going to come down – not because people are giving up and dropping out of the workforce – but because we are creating more jobs. I will create jobs and get America working again.”
