“Morning Joe” Crew Mocks Obama’s “New” Jobs Plan; Discuss Obama’s Refusal to Give “On the Record” Interview to Des Moines Register’s Editorial Board – Video 10/24/12
Here is the “Morning Joe” crew on MSNBC today where they mocked Barack Obama’s “new” 20-page “Jobs Plan” just issued yesterday. They point out even the New York Times says there is nothing new in it.
They also discuss the news that President Obama refused to meet in person with the Des Moines Register’s Editorial Board for an interview. Instead, he consented to calling them, but insisted the interview be “off the record,” meaning they are not to disclose anything he said to them! By contrast, Mitt Romney met with the board in person on October 9 and did an “on the record” interview. The Editorial Board is expected to issue an endorsement in the Presidential race this coming Saturday.
WASHINGTON EXAMINER: President Obama will go on the record with MTV’s Sway Calloway and Andrew Jenks this Friday, joining the network’s presidential coverage with 30-minutes of questions with a live audience.
But the president insisted that a 30-minute phone call with members of the editorial board of the Des Moines Register remain off-the-record, as he sought their endorsement.
