ABC News’ Martha Raddatz Reports from Iraq: There are “2,000 Hard-Core Al-Qaeda” in Iraq and Growing; Capable of “Serious Assaults”; U.S. Sending Arms to Iraqi Military – Video 1/23/14

Here is ABC News’ Martha Raddatz reporting from Iraq, where she said the United States has sent arms to help the Iraqi Military fight Al-Qaeda forces that have taken control of Fallujah. Raddatz reports there are 2,000 “hard-core Al-Qaeda” in Iraq now, capable of serious assaults. “An astonishing number” she said – especially when President Obama dismisses the Al-Qaeda gains as being like a “Jayvee” basketball team.

Obama’s failed, weak Foreign Policy is on full display.

Al-Qaeda needs to be sent a message loud and clear that this will not be tolerated and the US has this capability.

Instead we have a president that is more concerned about cutting military benefits and ensuring everyone can parade their sexuality because that is what makes his elite rich liberal friends happy. Between Obama and Cuomo, who is now partying in Hollywood to get his back scratched after giving them NY tax breaks, it is clear that these “leaders” are all talk about the little guy and no action.

It is reprehensible how little they seem to care about the lives and well-beings of average people around the globe and in their own backyards.

The abject weakness of Barack Obama has enabled Al-Qaeda to resurge in Iraq and all around the world. They are emboldened because for political purposes, he chose a total pullout from Iraq rather than the obvious need to keep a residual force there in order to not lose all the gains won by our brave men and women in uniform.

Yes, what a total failure of this Administration. How can you not honor the lives lost in Iraq by protecting the gains of freedom? How do you even sleep at night with that thought?

  • This is exactly what we should expect throughout the Middle East. IT is NOT AMERICA. The people there are NOT Americans. The majority are not CHRISTIANS. And the peoples of those lands have not experienced 235 years of free market economy and a constitutional republic…quite the contrary. We do not understand them, and they do not understand us socially, politically, or culturally…As soon as we leave, they will return to their own ways…THIS IS TO BE EXPECTED. Americans of the past were clearly different than other peoples…Today’s Americans…I’m not so sure of…we are not the same as our forefathers…but not like other peoples on the earth either…IN SO MANY WAYS.
