Just listen to Senior Obama Adviser David Axelrod’s pathetic attempt to justify Obama’s outrageous smear of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce by asserting they are using money from Foreign corporations to influence U.S. elections. Axelrod did so on Face the Nation yesterday, I guess assuming CBS News’ Bob Schieffer would give him a pass on it. But Schieffer did not.

Instead, Schieffer asked what evidence he had that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was using large sums of foreign money to influence elections. Axelrod had no evidence – retorting to Schieffer, “What evidence do you have they are not?” After listening to a flailing and failing Axelrod, Schieffer asked him incredulously, “Is that the best you can do?”

It became clear that the bottom line is that Obama and his minions are beside themselves with anger that anyone is daring to spend money to defeat their candidates and agenda. So, they slam the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with this charge to try and discredit them in the minds of the public. Obama is finding out that there are millions of Americans who are fed up with him and his agenda, and are willing to sacrifice in order to defeat him. He might as well get used to it. What the Chamber is doing is perfectly legal, and they are doing a great service to the nation.

Below is video of Ed Gillespie being interviewed by Schieffer after Axelrod’s pathetic performance. Gillespie pointed out to Schieffer that both the New York Times and the Washington Post have repudiated Obama’s claims against the Chamber of Commerce.
