You’ve probably noticed, but gas prices are going up, and in a hurry. This video report links the sharp rise to a refinery fire near San Francisco, and the drop in the number of refineries in the U.S. over the past decade.
Here is a new Republican National Committee (RNC) video that slams Obama and his arrogant Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu, over rising gas prices.
Here’s another new Mitt Romney ad that focuses squarely on Barack Obama and hammers him for his “Gas Hike Trio” – Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, and the EPA Administrator. The ad ties the rise in gas and electricity prices to Obama’s radical left-wing agenda to drive up prices to force Americans in the direction of “Green Agenda.” Chu is even quoted as saying gas prices need to go to European levels of $8 a gallon in order to wean Americans off fossil fuels.
Here’s a new Newt Gingrich web ad that focuses on the price of gasoline, and features Obama’s Secretary of Energy Steven Chu laughingly admitting he doesn’t own a car.
Here is video of Newt Gingrich on with Greta Van Susteren last night where he talked about his chances in today’s Mississippi and Alabama Primaries.
He first discussed the situation in Afghanistan, saying it is time for the United States to get out of Afghanistan. “I don’t see a positive argument for risking the lives of young Americans in this environment with the absolute lack of a strategy on the part of the President.”
Gingrich said we need to rethink our whole policy for the Middle East, and that the instability there is more of an argument why we need to become independent when it comes to oil, by going after the vast oil resources present in the United States.
On the GOP Nomination race, Gingrich believes he will do “very, very well” in today’s primaries in Alabama and Mississippi, and said the odds are not good of Mitt Romney getting the needed 1,144 delegates to win the GOP Nomination. In fact, he said the odds are greater that he will be a “frontrunner who ends up not finishing the race.”
Here is video of National Journal’s Major Garrett on CBS News this morning where he said President Obama’s strategy to deflect criticism on rising gas prices “is not working,” despite his attempts to ridicule Republicans about wanting to do more drilling in the United States. Obama has tried to tell Americans that increased drilling won’t solve the problem, and that he has actually increased drilling. But Americans know Obama’s radical environmental agenda is keeping us from accessing the vast oil resources we have in America. The rising prices are hurting Obama, and his strategy to deceive the American people is not working.
Speaking on “Fox & Friends” this morning, Donald Trump says if gasoline goes to $5 or $6 this summer, it will “be the end” of Barack Obama’s Presidency, because of the anger it will generate among Americans towards Obama’s “no-drilling” policy.
Here is a new ad by Newt Gingrich that stakes out the ground of bringing back $2.50 a gallon gasoline as the centerpiece of his campaign. In fact, Gingrich says that America can become the “largest oil producer in the world by the end of this decade – bigger than Russia, bigger than Saudi Arabia. We have vastly more resources than any other country in the world – if we use them.”
This is a message that could really gain some traction for Newt in the contests ahead, IF he has enough resources to get this message out on television.
Here is video of Newt Gingrich appearing on “The O’Reilly Factor” where he promised that as President, he will get gas prices back down to $2.50 a gallon.
Here is audio/video of Democrats in 2008 relentlessly attacking President George W. Bush over rising gas prices. Now that Barack Obama is President – and gas prices have doubled under his watch – there’s nothing that can be done about it. The hypocrisy of the Democrats is stunning, and the liberal media is working with them. During the Bush Presidency, the media constantly talked about the pain of consumers having to buy gasoline. But, now, the media is virtually silent. They have barely even mentioned Obama’s decision to kill the Kestone Pipeline that would have brought oil from Canada to U.S. Refineries.
Another good job by the Republican National Committee!
Here is a new brief RNC web ad that uses video of Barack Obama “singing the blues” at the White House to show how drastically gas prices have risen under Barack Obama’s radical energy policy. The ad says Obama “has America singin’ the blues!”
Are you ready for $5 gasoline?
It appears to be headed for a pump near you, thanks to Barack Obama’s energy policy controlled by the radical Left. If this happens, how do you think Obama’s rejection of the Keystone Pipeline will go over with voters? Interesting that the liberal media never utters a word about Obama’s rejection of the Keystone Pipeline.
