Here is video of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on “Hannity” last night where he called President Obama a “hardline Left-winger.” Gingrich said Obama is treating Republicans with “a level of disdain and arrogance that I think is breathtaking.” Gingrich was reacting to the laughable proposal Obama sent to Republicans on the “Fiscal Cliff” negotiations.
Gingrich said Republicans should walk away and tell Obama when he is ready to send up a serious proposal, they will consider it.
“I think Republicans have got to understand – they are not going to get any good deal from Barack Obama. He has contempt for them. He shows that contempt on a regular basis. He’s a hardline Left-winger. . . “
Here is video of Newt Gingrich on with Greta Van Susteren last night, where he aptly described the Presidency of Barack Obama.
Gingrich described Obama’s Presidency as like a “Vaudeville Act,” and called Obama the “Entertainer-in-Chief.” He was specifically reacting to Obama’s going on David Letterman and doing fundraisers with Jay Z and Beyonce this week, but not having time for Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Here is audio of Newt Gingrich on Sean Hannity’s Radio Show yesterday where he called President Barack Obama’s remarks on the the Trayvon Martin shooting “disgraceful.” Obama said yesterday, “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.” Martin, a unarmed 17 year-old Florida teen, was shot and killed by a Hispanic neighborhood watchman recently. The case has been taken up by Al Sharpton and a host of others, accompanied by marches and rallies.
Gingrich said about Obama’s remarks:
“It’s not a question of who that young man looked like. Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period. We should all be horrified no matter what the ethnic background. . . Is the President suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot that would be ok because it didn’t look like him?
That’s just nonsense dividing this country up. It is a tragedy this young man was shot. It would have been a tragedy if he had been Puerto Rican or Cuban or if he had been white or if he had been Asian-American of if he’d been a Native American. At some point we ought to talk about being Americans. When things go wrong to an American. It is sad for all Americans. Trying to turn it into a racial issue is fundamentally wrong. I really find it appalling.”
Here is video of Newt Gingrich on Greta Van Susteren’s show last night where he called the Presidency of Barack Obama “a very strange Presidency.”
Specifically, he was referring to Obama’s contention he is a Christian in terms of his faith – which Gingrich accepted. But Gingrich went on to say:
“Let’s accept that he’s a Christian. He’s a Christian whose policies are to apologize to Muslim extremists while they’re killing Americans – at the same time he’s waging war against the Catholic Church and against every Right-to-Life Institution in this country. . . . Why is it he’s more sensitive to radical Islamists who are killing young Americans than he is to the Catholic Church, to Baptists, to Fundamentalists, to people who are pro-Life. I mean, the fact is, this is a very strange Presidency. . . “
Here is video of Newt Gingrich speaking in Georgia on Saturday (2/18/12) where he hammered President Barack Obama as an “amateur,” and it’s time for America to have “somebody who actually knows what they are doing” in the White House.
Here is video of Newt Gingrich speaking in New Hampshire yesterday where he said if nominated, he will make the Fall Election against Barack Obama a referendum on whether the American People want “Paychecks or Food Stamps.”
“Obama is the best Food Stamp President in American History. More people are on Food Stamps today, because of Obama’s policies, than ever in history. I would like to be the best “Paycheck President” in American History. . . . And so, I’m prepared, if the NAACP invites me, I’ll go to their convention to talk about why the African American community should demand pay checks and not be satisfied with food stamps.”
Speaking in Iowa last night, Newt Gingrich says the “core argument” conservatives have with President Barack Obama is that he is “legitimately and authentically a Saul Alinsky Radical.” Gingrich said Obama “believes in a world in which the classic America has disappeared. He believes in a world in which the United Nations is more important than the United States Congress. He believes in a world of International Law rather than the United States Constitution.”
This kind of straight talk is exactly why Newt Gingrich has soared to the top of the GOP Nomination race.
Here is video of Newt Gingrich tonight in Johnston, Iowa, where he spoke to the Polk County GOP gathering.
In this clip, Gingrich predicted the economic recovery would begin in the United States on Election Night, November 6, 2012, with the defeat of Barack Obama and the capture of the U.S. Senate by the GOP:
“I’m going to predict to you tonight that the economic recovery will begin late on Election Night when the country realizes that Barack Obama’s going back to Chicago, and that the Republicans have won control of the Senate.”
Gingrich pledged a “team effort” to elect Republicans all across America if he is the GOP Nominee.
Here is video of Newt Gingrich yesterday in Naples, Florida, where he mocked President Obama by saying that he would allow him to “use a teleprompter” in the “seven Lincoln-Douglas style debates” Gingrich will challenge Obama to in the 2012 Election Campaign. Gingrich said he would do so because he “wants to be fair,” and then quipped, “If you had to defend ObamaCare, wouldn’t you want to use a teleprompter?”
Gingrich then explained why he thinks Obama will take the debate challenge. He said one reason is Obama’s “ego.” Gingrich cited Obama’s Ivy League credentials, and then said, “How is he going to say he’s afraid to be on the same podium with a West Georgia college teacher.”
Another great Gingrich line: “I actually do study history – and unlike the President, I study American History.”
He repeated that if Obama has not yet accepted his debate challenge at the time of Gingrich’s GOP Convention Nomination Speech, he will announce that the White House is his “scheduler” – meaning, as Lincoln did to Stephen Douglas, he will follow Obama around and go wherever he goes, making a speech “four hours” after Obama completes his event. “I don’t think that will last more than a couple of weeks,” Gingrich told the crowd.
Here is video of Newt Gingrich on the Today Show this morning, where he blasted President Obama for having no real “standard” for when the United States will intervene in nations militarily. Gingrich pointed out how Obama dithered for weeks on what to do in Libya, and then only acted when the Arab League and the U.N. wanted to move against Gadhafi. Gingrich said the President of the United States “does not report to the U.N.,” but should be working with the U.S. Congress – which he did not seek any kind of approval from.
Gingrich also said Obama on March 3 told the world that “Gadhafi has to go.” But now he is saying this is a purely “humanitarian mission,” and that getting rid of Gadhafi is not the goal. Gingrich said calling this a purely humanatarian mission, “is nonsense. If this is not designed to get rid of Gadhafi, then this makes no sense at all.”
Gingrich said he would not have intervened had he been President. But now that we are involved, Gingrich said leaving Gadhafi in power “will be a defeat for the United States.” On Obama’s handling of this, Gingrich said, “This is about as badly run as any foreign operation we have seen in our lifetimes.”
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Twitter said President Obama is “profoundly wrong” in supporting the building of a Mosque near Ground Zero in New York. Gingrich said Obama refuses to face the fact that the Ground Zero Mosque is “a political statement of radical islamist triumph over world trade center.”
