Three new national polls are out on the 2012 GOP Presidential race, and all three show Gov. Mitt Romney with a lead over the field of candidates.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry has solidified himself as a strong challenger to Romney, coming in 2nd place in the last five national polls on the GOP race. Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain seem to have lost some steam, and Ron Paul continues to have a faithful following of between 6-10% on average.
The other thing that jumps out at you in all three of these polls is that Gov. Tim Pawlenty is shockingly weak, with only 2% support in each poll. He has to do well in the GOP Debate tonight, and in the Iowa Straw Poll on Saturday. He desperately needs something to jump start his campaign.
