Here is audio of Donald Trump today on Sean Hannity’s radio show where he was asked if he was going to buy the New York Times? Trump would not say he is or is not, but he did say someone is going to have to buy it to save it, because it is in such bad financial shape.
The liberals at the New York Times don’t like the Debt Limit Deal President Obama and Leaders of Congress have agreed to. That’s always a good sign. Here’s some of their bluster in an editorial published this morning:
NEW YORK TIMES: There is little to like about the tentative agreement between Congressional leaders and the White House except that it happened at all. The deal would avert a catastrophic government default, immediately and probably through the end of 2012. The rest of it is a nearly complete capitulation to the hostage-taking demands of Republican extremists. It will hurt programs for the middle class and poor, and hinder an economic recovery.
It is not yet set in stone, and there may still be time to make it better. But in the end, most Democrats will have no choice but to swallow their fury, accept the deal and, we hope, fight harder the next time.
For weeks, ever since House Republicans said they would not raise the nation’s debt ceiling without huge spending cuts, Democrats have held out for a few basic principles. There must be new tax revenues in the mix so that the wealthy bear a share of the burden and Medicare cannot be affected.
Those principles were discarded to get a deal that cuts about $2.5 trillion from the deficit over a decade. . . . Read More
Charles Krauthammer corrects ‘Inside Washington’ host Gordon Peterson after he wrongly labels New York Times columnist David Brooks a “conservative columnist.”
Here is video of CNBC’s Mark Haynes talking with Donald Trump by phone today about a New York Times hit piece over some of Trump’s property dealings. The reporter who wrote the story reportedly canceled his appearance on CNBC at the last minute – according to Haynes.
Trump blasted the reporter, and the New York Times for the article. “It’s a disgrace,” he said.
The New York Times’ Frank Rich says Fox News and the “Right-Wing” are “trying to portray Obama as a closet terrorist.” He said this after MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow asked him why there was so much “hate” directed toward Muslims who want to build a mosque near Ground Zero.

Greta Van Susteren on GretaWire this morning has blasted the New York Times for leaving out Fox News Correspondent Jennifer Griffin from a list of those who will soon interview U.S. General David Petraeus. Greta headlined, “New York Times blew this one!”
GretaWire: I just read on line the New York Times and they sure blew this one!
They have an article about who is interviewing General David Petraeus in Afghanistan in the next two weeks and named Katie Couric, David Gregory and George Stephanopoulos. I admit each is a very experienced and capable journalist….but did you see who at Fox News Channel is going to Afghanistan to interview General Petraeus? Jennifer Griffin!
You don’t want to miss Jennifer’s interview. Not only is she very smart and very tough (let’s just say she has had an “annoying” past year but is coming back), but she has REAL EXPERIENCE being a war correspondent and also experience in the Pentagon as a Pentagon correspondent. Jennifer has insight going into the interview that no one else has.
As the Leftist Media showed during the 2008 Campaign, experience – knowing what you’re doing – doesn’t matter to them.
Glenn Beck exposes the NY Times’ bias when comparing their headline of Robert Byrd’s death to their headline of Strom Thurmond’s death.
“STROM THURMOND, FOE OF INTEGRATION, DIES AT 100” Compared to: “ROBERT C. BYRD, A PILLAR OF THE SENATE, DIES AT 92.”
And to top it all off, Glenn Beck pointed out that both headlines were written by the same person.

Here is video of Lt. Col. Ralph Peters on “The O’Reilly Factor” where he blasted the New York Times for publishing details of a memo from Gen. David Petraeus ordering that “covert military operations be expanded in the Middle East.” Peters says this is just another example of the NYT hurting the nation.
Peters said this kind of action makes it “much harder” for our agents to carry out their work on the ground in places like Iran. Essentially, the New York Times has tipped the enemy off as to what we are planning to do.
Peters said NYT Publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. is “a man with no regard for his country, a citizen of the world – one of the global elite.” Peters stopped short of saying Sulzberger “hates” his country, but he said it is clear “he and his paper are damaging our country.”
Well said, Col. Peters.
