Here is video of CNN Anchor Erin Burnett talking about President Obama’s claim in a recent interview that he goes “skeet shooting all the time” at Camp David. Burnett asked liberal Roland Martin if you are going to say “all the time, don’t you have to prove it?”
Of course, Martin does not think it matters, but Obama is the one who claimed he enjoys skeet shooting “all the time.” No one made him say that. Burnett is absolutely right.
Toward the end of the segment, GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn challenges Obama to invite her to a skeet shooting match. “I bet I’ll beat him,” she said!
Here is complete video of President Barack Obama’s Press Conference today where he demanded that Congress give him a blank check to keep up runaway deficit spending by increasing the debt-ceiling. He also threatened he was going to use “Executive Powers” to move against the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans. He indicated there are some steps he can take without legislation, and he intends to take those steps where possible. He did not specify what those steps will be.
This 2008 video posted over at Gateway Pundit via Free Republic, shows candidate Barack Obama saying in unequivocal terms “I am not going to take your guns away” if elected President. Obama was trolling for the votes of gun owners at the time, and laughed off the idea that people should not vote for him because of fears he would not respect the 2nd Amendment rights of citizens:
“I believe in the 2nd Amendment. I believe in peoples’ lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away . . . But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don’t use that one because it just ain’t true. It just ain’t true.”
Despite this promise to the American people, Obama appears ready to join Diane Feinstein and other Democrats in trying to push sweeping new gun control measures on the American people.
