Here is video of conservative Rich Lowry duking it out with ultra-liberal Rachel Maddow on Meet the Press over the fact that it is President Barack Obama who is cutting $700 Billion from Medicare in order to pay for ObamaCare. Maddow kept harping about the Ryan Budget, which uses the reality of those cuts as a baseline for how to deal with the nation’s debt – but seemed to have no problem with the fact it is Obama who has cut $700 Billion from Medicare! Lowry pointed out that Mitt Romney would roll back those cuts, while it is Obama who wants to keep them. Maddow never would try and defend the cuts. Lowry believes Republicans need to actually go on offense about Medicare, since it is Obama who is making cuts that actually affect current Senior Citizens.
Here is video of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow discussing a new poll that will be released today by Public Policy Polling that shows Herman Cain moving up into a tie for second place in Iowa with Sarah Palin at 15% support. Mitt Romney leads with 21% support.
Maddow discusses how Cain is quietly moving up, even though he is still not being taken seriously by the GOP inside-the-Beltway crowd.
UPDATED 12:54 PM CT: Poll numbers from Public Policy Polling added.
Looks like MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has egg on her face after her rush to hammer Sarah Palin yesterday.
Here is video of Maddow quoting from a satirical piece supposing some conservatives calling on Gov. Sarah Palin to push for a U.S.-led invasion of Egypt to protect American interests. However, Maddow quoted from the piece as if it were real!
Her point was to smear Palin with it, though she did say this is what Palin was being asked to do. It was also a chance for her to try and make conservatives in general look bad. Instead – she only managed to display clearly her case of Palin Derangement Syndrome.
Here is video of Don Imus just blasting MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow for not offering a defense of Keith Olbermann the night he announced his show was being ended by MSNBC. Maddow was on Bill Maher that eveing, and acted as if she knew nothing about the whole thing. Imus called Maddow a “gutless coward” in her actions in light of the face “she owes her job” to Keith Olbermann – meaning Olbermann helped give Maddow her start there.
Here is video of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Bill Maher’s show last night giving her reaction to news of Keith Olbermann’s firing from MSNBC. Maddow tried to nonchalant the whole thing, saying it was a “mutual decision” between Olbermann and the network – which Maher described as “B.S.”
But if you listen carefully to Olbermann himself, he opened his announcement by saying:
“I think the same fantasy has popped into the head of everybody in my business who has ever been told what I’ve been told: That this is going to be the last edition of your show.”
He was told, “this is going to be the last edition of your show.” That does not sound like a “mutual decision.”
Here is video of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow last night mocking President Obama’s claim that he got major concessions from Republicans in the deal he made to extend the Bush Tax Cuts (current tax rates) for all Americans..
Maddow showed how Obama was simply not telling the truth in claiming the “Child Tax Credit” was a GOP concession. In fact, she showed that the GOP has wanted the “Child Tax Credit” all along. Maddow went on and on excoriating Obama for selling out the Left in making this deal, which she considers a win-win for the GOP.
Here is an incredible display of what passes for “journalism” at MSNBC. This video shows Rachel Maddow interviewing (if you can call it that) Republican candidate for Congress Art Robinson. He is opposing Democrat Rep. Pete DeFazio in Oregon’s 4th Congressional District.
Maddow was clearly on a mission to smear Robinson by pulling isolated quotes from Robinson’s writings on scientific matters over the past 30 years. But Robinson refused to take anything off Maddow, repeatedly calling her out for her bias and her attempted smears. He did a great job of frustrating her usual approach of “gotcha” with out-of-context quotes, and revealing that she had no interest in discussing the issues of the current campaign.
