Here is video of President Obama in an interview with NBC News Anchor Brian Williams saying he “did not watch” the Glenn Beck “Restoring Honor” Rally on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Williams had asked Obama what it said to him that Beck was able to “draw North of 300,000 people” to attend the rally.
Obama then gave a long litany of the problems the country has faced over the past few years, and said “it is not surprising that someone like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of the country.”
On November 2, I think the President may find out that “certain portion of the country” that is “stirred up” is much larger than he wants to believe.

As you can see in this clip, the crowd extended from the Lincoln Memorial, down both sides the entire length of the reflecting pool, and beyond, toward the Washington Monument.
