Here is video today during the Inaugural Parade of Fox News’ Shepherd Smith talking to “The Hill’s” A.B. Stoddard about the chances of passage for President Obama’s Gun Control agenda. Stoddard said flatly:
“We’re not going to see any kind of banning of ammunitions or weaponry.”
When liberal Shepherd Smith protested, she further added:
“Right now, the numbers don’t exist on the Republican or Democratic side.”
Stoddard said there is a chance some kind of consensus could form around a “Universal Background Check” requirement, but explained there are many Democrats from Red States that fear a backlash if they vote for anti-gun measures.
Here is video of GOP Political Consultant Ed Rollins telling Fox News’ Shepherd Smith that he believes Ron Paul will win the Iowa Caucuses on January 3, 2012. Rollins said Newt Gingrich “has no campaign” in Iowa, and that in his “egotistical driven” way of campaigning, he has not built the organization or spent the time in Iowa that he needed to do.
Rollins said there is a real danger that Paul will run as a third party candidate and play the “spoiler,” because he won’t be the GOP Nominee with his “nuts” Foreign Policy. Rollins also said Paul is “not going to be treated with respect,” even if he wins in Iowa, which could push him toward a Third Party run.
